TOWN Tops Queensland Property Sales Twice in 30 Days

Two recent Sunshine Coast sales by TOWN have ranked as Queensland’s highest reported house sale of the week, with the locally owned agency achieving the state’s top result twice within the space of just 30 days.

TOWN agents Craig Morrison and Zach Favell negotiated both standout transactions across very different parts of the Coast, offering a strong reflection of continued demand and the depth of buyer interest at the prestige end of the Sunshine Coast market.

The first was 16 Amaroo Street, Buderim, which sold for $5.6 million and recognised by The Australian Financial Review as Queensland’s top house sale of the week.

Less than two weeks later, 30 Mary Street, Alexandra Headland sold for $6.8 million, again placing a TOWN sale - and a Sunshine Coast property - at the top of the state’s weekly reported house sales.

While the two homes are very different in style and setting, the results speak to a broader trend. Demand for premium Sunshine Coast property remains strong, particularly where homes offer a compelling combination of location, lifestyle and quality.

TOWN Director Craig Morrison said the results were encouraging not simply because of the sale prices achieved, but because they reflected strength across multiple prestige markets on the Coast.

“What stands out to us is that these results were achieved in two very different locations,” Craig said.

“Buderim and Alexandra Headland appeal to buyers for different reasons, but both continue to attract strong interest when the right property comes to market.”

“We are continuing to see buyers who value the lifestyle, quality of property and long-term appeal of the Sunshine Coast.”

The Buderim result reinforces the suburb’s reputation as one of the Sunshine Coast’s most established premium residential markets, while the Alexandra Headland sale reflects the continued appeal of tightly held coastal property in blue-chip lifestyle locations.

Taken together, the two sales provide another clear indication of the strength, maturity and diversity of the Sunshine Coast prestige market, with buyers continuing to compete for exceptional homes across a range of sought-after locations.
