Licensed Agent Peter Cox joined the team at TOWN after 12 years representing the constituents of Division 3 in the Sunshine Coast Council; a role where he worked closely with the community, key stakeholders, along with fellow councillors to shape future policy and strategically plan for sustainable growth.

Prior to being an elected representative, Peter was Co-owner of an award-winning real estate agency in Kawana Waters, taking the agency to number one in Queensland and in the top 10 nationally.

Peter was attracted to TOWN’s boutique brand and he very much shares their client-centric approach, corporate ethos, and unwavering commitment to excellence.

His background in local government has equipped him with an in-depth understanding of master-planned communities, town planning processes, and development approvals (DA’s); this invaluable knowledge perfectly complements his move back to the property sector.

Peter has successfully negotiated hundreds of property sales for his clients across the coast, though his main focus is in the suburbs of Kawana Waters. A long-term resident of this booming coastal strip, Peter has an extensive network of contacts and is heavily invested in the local community at all levels, including having sat on several Not-For-Profit boards.
